prisms are very expensive, it's because of those alone like the prism glass thing was 300ish alone and then you have the price for the actual like.. glasses? and i requested some special things like some kind of filter to also decrease how bright i think things are + it also included the appointment and that so ye, would've been cheaper if it only was the -0.25 thing, but yeah
Oh yea the prism would explain it i guess! I got mine under 200 luckily, i caught some free deals with my glasses.
Yeah.. I think I might continue wearing glasses beyond the year I agreed on because I have headaches more seldom and there is a difference
Crazy how important your eyes are

but honestly do check online, you can get them still way cheaper than at the stores if you have all the measurements
I only have those from 3 years ago and it's hard to get an appointment for the eye doctor : /

Yeah, the weirdest is that the glasses could've been 0.0 as long as the prism thing was there and it would help so yeah

yea eyesight n teeth arent healthcare
also the frames r always wildly expensive it's kinda incredible to have to pay 300€ for just the frames alone

last time i got them covered fully (by a gov facility) but the frames had to be from a specific selection n all of them were under 80€ lol at least they had some decent ones, all i paid for was bluelight protection

at this point ive begun voluntarily wearing my glasses at home after years of being like noo glasses ugly!! it makes my life easier, bad when i take them off cus i feel my eyes shaking for a moment   i dont wear them outside only at school and when i use my pc yes, maybe one day ill start wearing them all the time
Oh i did the same, i only wore glasses in class.. and i still have a hard time adjusting to wearing glasses. But i really do need em, because otherwise i can't see signs and peoples faces and in a weird way that fucks with me.

yeah, okay, in that case you'll need to see one probably
though a lot of those measurements and tests you can get done at an optrician?
also, sometimes the doctors can write something so insurance covers a bit more for new frames if it's a big jump despite the legal restrictions of only new frames every 10 years

yeah but isn't it weird to get those measures and then buy online?

I really hope it's not worse than 0.5 and even then I think insurance only covers like 10€ per glass

i legit cant talk to ppl without my glasses on sometimes, ruins the whole experience, almost like my brain makes me believe i can hear and understand what's happening better if i can see it clearly smh.. i really will end up being a glasses wearer 24/7 <\3
