I think the ppl who knew me from before i started wearing them (2017) dont really think abt it anymore !! I wear them literally every single day and all the pictures i post of myself r with them so at this point i think its more unusual to see me w blue eyes. My mom wore brown contacts for a while as well in 2005 or something so she just thinks its fun. And everyone ive met after r all fooled by them until whenever i somehow bring up the fact that my eyes r actually blue n they r like «no they arent» and i put my finger in my eye n move the contact so the blue shows 😭 lmao
no ones ever made comments abt it like why i wear them ! I think it helps that i justify it with the fact that i actually need the contacts to see tho, like they are prescription(?) lenses

yeah i don't see why people would/should be offended over them at all like it's perfectly fine to wear halloween contacts recreationally so why not natural colors, it's just like dying your hair for fun lol

good to hear that you havent actually had any negative reactions for it!! im scared of social consequences lol i cant deal with comments on my appearance or ppl thinking im weird (even tho i think its cool to wear contacts and as dad said its just like dying your hair like who cares)
maybe i will get some and try to wear them out for parties

only problem is that i have astigmatism and i remember the brand you said you used and i looked them up and you can't get any coloured contacts for astigmatism 🙃

Ohhhhh noo 😭 that sucks cause that brand is SO GOOD like in 5 yrs only 1 person has been able to tell they are contacts before ive said anything n only reason was bc she used to wear colored contacts herself 💔 hope u r able to find a brand that works for u!!!!!

yes so sad :'( contacts dont really work for me in general, not even the proper prescription ones i get at the optometrist bc the astigmatism i have isnt severe enough for contacts apparently bc you can only get a certain prescription for astigmatism in contacts apparently. but its still bad enough that i cant see without something to fix it
so glasses 4 life it is 👍
