Depending on the offer the hit you will take on your reputation could be larger in loss than the money you get out of it.

Someone from our side should also try out the website to see if it's not a scam ect. Also check if the website has malware or links to malwere.

no point rlly just makes the site tacky and the advertisers arent gonna ask for future article promotions because they're not gonna gain any traction from a site w like 100 active users

I checked it out briefly but didn't dig too much into it.

From my understanding there wouldn't be a link to a casino on our website. The link would be to the article which will have the casino associated link on it. Idk I've personally brought up the same issues that were addressed in the forum which was why we (Etjen, Abby and I) wanted to let everyone know what was going on and have them voice their opinions.

even if we ignore the fact that the idea of casino ads in a dress up game is ridiculous, promoting gambling is something no one should ever do💀 also im pretty sure its illegal

Could we maybe consider doing a deal like this...not with a casino? Like maybe some fashion or video game sites etc. would let us do a similar deal. That way we could get some ad revenue but with something a little less...sketchy and adult? Maybe there would be objections to anything we pick but... i feel like gambling is a pretty unsavory thing to support compared to other options?

(i mean, i know they are the ones that asked but maybe we could try reaching out and seeing if other sites, games, apps, etc. would be willing to strike a deal)

I hear and see casino ads pretty much every day so I couldn’t care less, but I can see where people are coming from

could we please stop calling VP a children's site too please. Target audience is young adults, which the main part of the current userbase is too and probably will keep being

if the link isnt directly on the site then i think it's ok.. as someone else said yea seen so many dodgy ads already but the pleasure of having common sense is you can just ignore them. vp could use some money ngl, does the admin team know where the money would be spent on like a new wardrobe/layering system

Did you use the identification system?

My dad gambles on sports, he uses mr green, betway and unibet a lot. They are a somewhat of good example if you want references of gambling identification safety? But any website like that has issues with identity theft. Many casino/gambling websites went down with the new laws atleast in Finland. The smaller the website, the more risk it is.
