Thats a good point! And no i wont be gaming on it, the only game i have is sims and i am planning on installing it on a different device. I am just so clueless on which brands are good and how much i should pay for a computer and i feel like if i were to go to a store and ask they would just scam me to buy the most expensive one lol
In that case I'd bring up a few points,
You want it to be big enough so the screen is comfortable and big enough for writing, reading, and making future assignments and essays you might need to do, reading over material and such, BUT
not too big that it won't get into your bag or the bag you plan on carrying it on,
for me 15 inch was enough but I had a friend that got 17
You want it to be light because you'd carry that thing around a lot, in my experience in high school I worked with a laptop as a note book and my old laptop was HEAVY my shoulders did not appreciate it whatsoever, even when I was lifting weights it was baaad...
And where you'd be using it, if you'd use it only at home and uni, battery isn't much of a problem because you can just connect it to the outlet and that's it, but if you see yourself working a bit... idk,
outside, on the campus on a sunny day, places with no outlet, you'd need a laptop that will have good battery for a few hours!
If money's an issue there are those tablets with keyboards, the 1+2 thing? or was it 1 in 2? don't exactly remember HOWEVER those are pretty weaker than other laptops as far as I remember last checking em but cheaper!
good brands I'd say... eh
the quality of brands compared to before got worse, but I'd suggest Asus, Acer, Lenovo and HP
those are brands I worked with and I find em to be okay\good till this day
I myself own an Asus laptop for about 3 years by now
Ur a mvp thank you SO MUCH. I will add these points to my list and start looking for something that is affordable but does the job well enough so that it would last around 4-5years. I really want to invest in good battery life so that will be the number one thing on my list
