yes it is weird because there is a lot of visible unhealthy traits that are caused by unhealthy habits but no one lifts a finger

my question asks that some trans women 1) want to be seen as women but also want people to acknowledge that 2) trans women are at a higher risk of hate crime (amongst others)

but women of color are not concerned about (1). they are concerned about (2). so it's a false equivalence because not the same set of statements hold.

1 and 2 do not contradict each other because trans women are women
