i take stones(and iron) too, if i need them for diy or in case (x

A good idea is also too wait till u got free time to check your island, don't do i first thing in the morning before u have to go somewhere.
That way u have it as something that's fun when u actually have time to sit down and do something c: it's something fun to get you through the day if u like the game as much as i do, haha 😌
