When I still designed I just had 1 layer for each item, then if I needed to shade smth I would make a new layer then merge it immediately, so rlly each item always just 1 layer help

i used to avoid that like crazy then just realized like... oh whatever its fine. i thought it was easier to make changes but then i realized things load faster anda re just as easy to change without it
