it's not "body positivity" to encourage fat people to be fat and unhealthy
maybe ur a little confused but telling ppl not to hate and harm themselves isnt "encouraging" to be fat

whhy is there a reaction in the first place
why cant fat or obese people just exist without harassment or someone """worried""" about their health
yes it is weird because there is a lot of visible unhealthy traits that are caused by unhealthy habits but no one lifts a finger
idk if thats what u mean but this reminds me of ppl who r like "omg shes so fat" and then go intermittent fast for 16 hours.. a lot of projecting lol
Well l didn't mean it like that but rather like how you can tell if someone has unhealthy habits they are left alone but obese people are always okay to bash on because "it is in the worry of the general health" when people don't bat an eye to an alcoholic nor even better someone crying

"god ur so fucking fat, but im just worried for you.. but you look really disgusting sorry, but again im just worried bc its really unhealthy"

i honestly in the middle with this though, or maybe not in the spectrum of this discussion at all

there are always going to be similarities but to make comparisons like that is still harmful. ethnicity is not the same as transsexuality.
How is it different in the regard you're discussing? I'm not being annoying, I'm genuinely curious.
my question asks that some trans women 1) want to be seen as women but also want people to acknowledge that  2) trans women are at a higher risk of hate crime (amongst others)

but women of color are not concerned about (1). they are concerned about (2). so it's a false equivalence because not the same set of statements hold.
They are though, they want to be acknowledged as normal people and as equals, I don't get your argument.

1 and 2 do not contradict each other because trans women are women
okay let's make the preposition that trans women = women, then what does (2) mean? trans women are at a higher risk of hate crime than women. because then that isn't possible if trans women = women

i will say that if the person is aiming to lose weight it is recommended they decrease their calorie intake but if the person has no intention of that at all i think the other party should just shut up and keep it to themselves..

trans women are women with a specific life experience and are at a threat of violence because of other people do not percieve them as women
it's very simple idk why you cant see that
