at least that's what i've seen from people who are like that
It's a bad coping mechanism. I always get the sense people like that are trying too hard to be likeable, which ends up being counterproductive. Like, remember that Oscars speech Anne Hathaway did? She admitted she was in a bad mood and trying to cover it up b/c she got called out. People can spot a fake.

I dont think people are obliged to talk about their personal lives or feelings... but cheery facades are creepy af. At least be honest
i also think its funny if ur not cheery and smiley depending on situation people ask whats wrong are you angry like no im just neutral calm down

From my point of view:

I am a person who percieves the world through logic and senses rather than intuition and feeling. That is also the reason why I find it hard to relate to people who's been through drastically different things as me. Sometimes I do feel like I can react in a judgemental way such as giving "advice" or saying somethings along the lines of: "man that, must really suck for you /:" and I know that makes nothing better. The problem is that i don't know what else to say and i genuinely hope that the people I appreciate can feel great about themselves and not constantly feel down.

Hopefully I didn't leave anything out
i wouldn't say that's really the same

Yes, cause I feel like you're describing me and that makes me a bit sad, some of you are portraying positive individuals as ignorant and annoying people.

People accuse me of being sad/bored when I'm merely content and just... deep in thought? Have you noticed the people who demand a specific reaction from people are some of the most judgmental?

What you said reminds me of Kstew. People judged her for being ungrateful or thought she was closed off b/c shes shy and hates the superficial aspects of hollywood. You have to wonder if the real assholes were Kstew or her detractors.

Please remember to be kind and respectful towards each other. There is no need to come into a thread looking to start a fight. If you don't like what someone is saying it is easier just to not post.

it gets so a point when someone starts comment on every post trying to keep an argument going because they can't handle different opinions but not really adding anything to a discussion

I dont think people understand what you're trying to say. I dont think you're criticizing positivity generally inasmuch as forced or fake positivity, which I agree is off-putting.

This isn't towards you, just a reminder to not be rude if you don't agree (to everyone) I'd rather not have a fight start from a simple topic
