yes, but you'd probably need a lot of them.  the base of tahini is sesame paste!

i also like to add sesame seeds on top of things :3  kind of go with anything, theyre something i eat all the time

Quick Tahini (Sesame Seed Paste) Recipe (thespruceeats.com)

here's a quick recipe i found in order to make the actual seeds into paste
i make my tahini more flavorful by adding in lemon/lime, garlic, salt into it afterwards
keeps in the fridge for a really long time and is good on anything.

also if you're switching out of simple carbs to more complex ones it's good to do so incrementally 
learned that one the hard way, got super fatigued and cranky bc my body was used to quick energy
