i agree get therapy. have you actually tried talking with a therapist? a lot of the time when people say "therapy doesnt work for me" it's just bc they had a therapist they didn't click with. it's not the therapy that isn't working, it's the chemistry between you and the therapist. find a therapist you feel understands you and is able to help

also im not saying this because you're supposedly a racist, im saying this because it sounds like you have mental problems. no hate
no, i never tried therapy. but i have been recommended to go to therapy in the past so i have looked it up and i don't see how it would be beneficial to me

i don't think i have mental problems, i just think i'm very closed minded and childish (it's my way or the highway! type of deal)
well if you haven't tried, then you don't really know, do you. also being very closed minded and childish is mental problems, depending on your age

also, why have you been recommended to go to therapy in the past? it sounds like other people out there seem to catch that there's something you need help with

i have had a very black/white mindset as well (not in a racist way tho lol), having a hard time understanding anything that's different from me, but having an open mindset and a curiosity towards understanding what's different, asking open questions and being willing to try to understand differences between you and others is what's going to help you change. saying "i cant change" is what's keeping you stuck like this. if you dont want to seek therapy, then at least try to ask yourself why you are so convinced you can't change. do you not want to change, is that it? or do you have no self-confidence in your ability to change? are you scared of change? do something about it
that's exactly how i feel too! it's not that i don't want to understand, it's that i just don't. i'm also open-minded in a sense that i'm a curious person and i love to gather information about just about anything. i would never say no to a conversation to someone who isn't like  me, it's just that i have a problem with them for not being like me. does that make sense?

therapy could still be an option even in the absence of evident mental problems. if you're really trying to grow out of your mindset but can't do it on your own and have the means for it, getting professional help could possibly be helpful

yes. the thing with having a problem with things and people being different from you, is a problem though, and is what i would recommend seeking therapy for. because it's going to be difficult living in a world where many things and people are different from you, if you have a problem with it. i have had a difficulty understanding things different from me because i'm autistic and for many years could just not empathise with others. but to help with that, you just have to seek to understand the things that make you different, and try to find some common ground with the people, who you think seem so different from you. in many cases you will find that you are more similar to a lot of people than you would have imagined, who you might think you have nothing in common with. but you also won't have something in common with everyone in the world, and that is okay, and you have to accept that, you know?
