Not to be a hypocrite but I must say, the earl grey head mod is very nice, I like how it makes the dolls look more petite like porcelain dolls or sth.

how much creds have u had at ur peak?
I have no idea, usually I just spend it when I get like 2k, currently I have 1,9k, not very rich of course lmao, but fine enough when im not an avid user
hmmmm yea if u tend to keep the same style / same "character" then ig it's fine ahaha - whenever i make a fit in the store it easily costs 10k which u can rly only achieve by buying or grinding for months
Yeah I usually spend a bit of time trying to find the best quality items I want for cheapest

i think its pretty lol i dont think mods are a problem the problem is the lack of standardization. there shouldnt be three different turned head mods just the one.

honestly, the more I see user dissatisfaction when it comes to ES, the more I'm like "you did this yourself by trying to match every whim of the userbase without any critical thougt"
Me every time someone in mature complains about the clubs even though 90% of the adults on there are just as bad.
I feel like many people who question stuff about ES don't stay there
those that stay either don't interact and those who interact a lot with the game seem to be very self-absorbed about the needs of the site vs their own
like "oh, I want this and I am mad we don't have it, this NEEDS to be here" without thinking of the further implications

the issue is that this comes from being uncritical when it comes to which mods to allow, which ones are needed etc
a lot of the mods seem to get into game as a favour to the designer who made them and not because they are actually useful
there's also this fight over who's now allowed to make mods, which only furthers the 3 same mods from 3 different designers issue

The banning thing is so weird tho, like u see a user that looks like the typical es user, neopronouns and all that, uknow, and then they are banned for like micro-aggressions or racism or smth, and its like hm ? Like when masi got banned for racism I think, it made absolutely no sense, if the reason was abt the thing where she said smth abt the race of skins or whatever, I don't remmeber, but it made zero sense at least. Its like ban first, never ask questions later. Mby cus they expect everyone to be american and hyper aware of all issues and hyper aware of how to formulate sentences in the "proper" way that can cause NO misunderstanding etc

a lot of people that know about all that was going on with me think that the racism ban for me was just the first excuse they could take to get rid of me, since I was openly chritical of parrot and tut

but yeah, it looks like sometimes it's just a mod that's looking at one thing, take it out of context and if maybe offends anyone, byebye
like either you know how to formulate things so no one misunderstands you, or you better don't interact
because you just need one user having a bad day and reporting you and they ban you pretty fast

like I said, short term it's easier to accept the whims of your userbase rather than think about what this will mean for the future
(also, a lot of trolls on ES who look normal but are just shitting everyone, so that also plays into it)

well I don't know how extreme it is now, but for instance when it comes to the badges
a lot of users were really adamant about needing very specific badges for the specific issue
instead of saying "we have a few general ones that encompass bigger groups of people" (knowing a bunch of users wouldn't be happy but it would still work out in general, like for instance the sexualities or the mental health ones - which are a whole new can of worms), they agreed to a whole lot of them. with the end result, that users are now fighting over this and that over-specific badge still missing and it not getting implemented
also the mental health badges are a nice idea when you think about it in isolation, but they have caused a whole lot of issues when it comes to discrimination and added a whole new level for trolling
then also the issue with the mature users who are like "we want to be able to talk about mature stuff and don't want to be limited to pg-13 topics". Yeah, well, ES has no real safety protocol for stuff like that, so they can't do it. you see how that's a big issue already with many kids entering the wrong age. I mean this is a common issue and has been ever since there was age restrictions on stuff on the internet. but if you are a site where you want to allow a platform for both adults and kids, you have to cater to the lowest age or you open up doors for abuse. this has happened, when they hadn't been thinking about this

also, more specific when it comes to the bodymods again
since there are so many body mods and there is the whole plus size and minus size thing, a lot of users are still mad about their 1:1 body not being in game. like "if so and so can have representation, I need it too" not realising that what most are asking for is impossible and that dress up games like these aren't meant for everyone to make a 100% customizable avatar (like for instance on imvr or what its called)
but when the discussions got loud, there was talk among the admins "oh hey, that's a great idea, yeah we totally need it". grantd, it's been 2 years now and nothing happened, but I guess that's like 75% down to poor management skills and finding someone who's willing to do the work and not necessarily because they ended up genuinely thinking about the implications for the game

For mental health badges, I think a general mental health badge is fine, and ones for autism and adhd uknow (idk if that classifies as mental health but u get what I mean hopefully), but when ppl want like borderline badge, schizophrenia badge, whatever badge, its going a bit too far, and idk why u would even want to show it so openly. I guess for some esp if they are not diagnosed, its like some type of "pride" in having all these illnesses (without even having them, who knows with these ppl tbh) but also they would literally put a target on their back for trolls, which then can personalize their "hate" or manipulation to that persons spesific illness. I just bruh
