First thing you need to teach your kids is respect.

If your kids don't respect you as their parent, you didn't raise them right.
It's only natural that at some point in the kid's life they lose respect for the parent, after all despite the status it's still a connection within two people aka it's bound to have ups and downs. You can't always unconditionally respect your parent, especially if they did you wrong, kids are not mindless submissive pets they're whole people too
I have ALWAYS respected my parents.
Good for you for having decent parents, not everyone does.

Bruh it's okay to not want to inherent debt what the hell??
First of all, you can't iinherit debt from your parents. Whatever debt they have gets paid of and the remains goes to their children. If the dept is too high, the government (depending on where you live, could be a found) but you can never inherit debt.

Second of all, you should not say things like that out loud. It's shameful. I would never in a million years say that about my parents or anybody else.
You can inherit debt lol. If for example my dad actually owned a house, done paid loan, BUT he had debt from for example a car or second house, I could either choose to inherit the house AND the extra debt, or I could choose to inherit nothing. So for him to not have debt when he dies would be good for me

Obviously he has to pay his debt with the things he owns. I didn't say otherwise.
My point is: you can never be expected to pay out of your own pocket another persons debt.

Ok but I literally would have to pay out of my own pocket if I wanted to for example inherit my childhood home (which would already be paid down in this scenario ) if he has other debt
