Yes its tested to the point we can, its conclusive to the point where we have come with modern science, tho it might change later n be proven not real when we advance, but for now its proven at least

A scientific theory is an explanation of some aspect of the natural world that has been substantiated through repeated experiments or testing. But to the average Jane or Joe, a theory is just an idea that lives in someone's head, rather than an explanation rooted in experiment and testing.

No, thats ehy we can only take basis in the current, like it was once a theory that the sun rotated around the planets, but we figured out that the planets r rotating around the sun so now that is the theory
