Also idk man, if you truly identify w star/starself then cool I guess, I'll never understand it. I might mess up but I'll give it my best shot... but if you're doing it cause everyone else is then just stopppp
I do! It’s okay if you mess up honestly, I’ve been using these pronouns since like December 2019 so I’m used to it lolz

well,, i don't really understand the logic behind he/him lesbians but i'm cool with it.
i'm so glad pronouns don't exist in my native language (turkish)  so i don't have to worry about these types of things.
nobody has to label themselves into something they're not comfortable with!
even if you don't support someone's pronouns you still have to refer to them with it don't @ me

I have like never met a person who uses neopronouns so i dont really know about how and why they use that when they could just use they/them. Im finnish and we use a genderneutral pronoun "hän" even tho mostly just use "se" which means it and its like normal everyday slang i guess. I respect all identities but i feel like People Kin and neopronoun People make all of trans People look bad to cis People and it makes our position more vulnerable. I am just a queer he/him ftm guy trying to be accepted

at least not outside ES or old tumblr.
I'm against gatekeeping in general but it seems so awfully self centered to make up your own set of pronoun when there already is they in english.

god that must be nice, we had this stupid debate over writing the female form of citizen on official forms in politics for years now and it's mostly old women who are like 'but i don't feel included in the original form of citizen because it has a male genus',  like m'am, spoon has a gender too grammatically speaking......

i support whatever the fuck people wanna do, my issue is, people expecting everyone to adjust instantly to things such as "neopronouns" which will never be used in everyday life

i wish all 7.7b people could pull pronouns out of their asses and make the english language completely unusable thus forcing the usage of a singular, gender-neutral pronoun so we wouldn't have to have these conversations ever again

thank god in finnish we can refer to everyone just as an 'it'
i should start doing that in english 2

there is a difference between linguistic innovation and to have to learn a whole set of new words for each person.
I'm german, we don't have a neutral pronoun so it would be reasonable to make up one or two universally known alternatives to she and he but why is that alternative that already exists in english not enough? I don't get it.
