I started reading book 1 and I really like his way of writing. I heard many bad things about it and thought I would be disappointed but no I enjoyed what i read so far.
oh bad things? i keep hearing from fans that the books are far superior and so on

I don't really know any Got fans especially no one who read the books and the first people online I found who talked about them said how George RR Martin's writing sucks so idk. Everyone who started GoT is like 'uhhh incest' and immediately stopped after one episode and no matter how hard I try I can't convince them to continue watching djkdhjkdjk. I just want to share my baby with them sad

Very comforting to hear. Because after watching episode 1 of season 4 I talked with someone about how I didn't understand what's going on and if it takes like 7 episodes until it gets somewhat explained then I would be mad and disappointed by the season. And she just went 'uhhh sis it's not the creators fault you don't understand what's going on!?!??! I understand everything not you saying the anime is bad just because you're too stupid I...' and I was like.... what

nah I mean at the beginning we didn't knew that this was years after the attack on paradise and stuff like this, just a basic foundation of knowledge, that's all I meant. i'm fine with not understanding everything, but like if I understood nothing until 7 weeks later? Nah mate that wouldn't be it. I mean they explained the most basic things one episode later so I'm fine.

Exactly! It's so disturbing whenever those titans come running forward it makes me want to hide under my bed
they run SO funny tho and some titans look hilarious. but yeah it's quite gory!
