you say aplro soja vanilla drink and I'm ready to puke
I was living off that shit as a child, I drank 250ml every single day, sometimes even more
now, just the thought of it makes me so sick
like I really want to drink it again, because I know the taste will evoke so many childhood memoires, but I literally got sick of it and the one time I tried drinking it again, I was sick for a whole week
haha oh noooo
i used to drink like 1l of regular milk a day in my teens, we never had the alternative milks at home so this a new world for me n im discovering all the fun flavours haha,,, but yeah i can definitely imagine how you could drink yourself sick on this stuff, it's a bit too sweet, the choccy ones are a bit milder
oh we had it since very early on because my brother was so lactose intolerant, he couldn't even drink breastmilk, nevermind the babymilk substitutes that have a shitton of lactose in them
but he kinda grew out of it meanwhile mine got worse with puberty
but a doctor told my mum to try soy drinks (because 20 years ago, that was about the only thing on the market - fuck did I just say 20 years ago o.O this is what getting old feels like, I'm ready for an existential crisis now) and it did wonders for us
hahaha shhh no dont think about things happening 20 years ago

but yeah back then the only kids who recognized oat milk when we got it at school like once or twice (the choccy kind) was the lactose intolerant kids, i guess it's good we've progressed to the point of having so many options

it's so expense tho for no reason, love the taste tho
i think i have a skewed perspective on what's expensive because i buy so little food items that paying 20 sek for a thing of milk feels pretty ok
tbf, if no ones said it already, milk alternatives in sweden r very decently priced
norwegians travel to sweden to buy oat milk cause compared to norwegian prices its fairly cheap!!

oooh okay that explains it then, cause i was at the store today looking at all the milks and nothing seemed that bad to me but im also notoriously bad at food budgeting haha

idk norway groceries just seem so expensive to me in general though like talked to some people once n they told me one marabou/freia was like 40 kronor? or maybe im misremembering
