Idk I just find cheating to be such a disgusting thing like morally it's not possible to defend it.
In the books I'm talking about, the sleeping around with a lot of other people results in death so it's very horrible but also masterfully written and it's the point of the series anyway.
That's true. As long as it isn't justified, then I don't find it to be too bad to write about. Idk, maybe it's because it seems to be something most people either know someone who experienced, or experienced themselves, so it seems kind of relateable?
But it honestly also sounds like it's handled quite okay in the series you're mentioning.
It's just very sad, I saw a movie classified as a comedy and the main "comedy" thing was that he was cheating on his boyfriend and I felt so sorry for his boyfriend that I spent the entire movie pretty much crying because I found the other guy so incredibly mean and awful and I don't find it even remotely funny it's just sad
What a weird way to write a comedy ??? wtf.

Fantasy is just a better genre than romance a lot of the time. Romance-themed fantasy is even better.

I'm hoping to finish The Priory of the Orange Tree next week, and my heart absolutely melts for the wlw couple in it.
funfact: my roommate at uni now have read the priory of the orange tree bc he reads fantasy too but i was like " no i haven't read it". and he hasn't watched got but read all the books. wondering if i'm gonna ask him if he wanna watch the new tog series w me or not on mondays.

also we went to the same fhs
I would probably look up whether or not the new series seem to match the book series first. GoT should be wildly different to the ASOIAF books.

If you have Prime you can dunk on the LOTR-universe series Amazon made together. release date is this Friday.
I'm gonna piracy the lotr series. we all know I'll watch it bc I'm starved for fantasy series. I'm not picky.

i don't know,
i am not very good at rereads because i think the first time is the charm
I actually find these books better the more I read them because I notice how many small seemingly trivial details that the author have put in the book that you see the second time and go like I see, very clever
that's nice
One example that's not spoiling anything is how the parents  of the two main characters (and actually also the world) deal with the children realising their existence when they (as children) write their own name on things or place their hands on things and it marks them kinda, it's very masterful I'd say because you can return to that at the end and be like that's very interesting

Yeah also it's super bad, I think the concept was that there were some online? thing that kept sending new guys to one of them and he was like haha no i am in a relationship but then he cheated and the other one found out and it was not funny at all

That's honestly also fair. Better to piracy by now because there's too many streaming services (and Amazon is horrible.) Have you watched Sandman? It should be rather good.

I, for some reason, has Prime I don't pay for ??? so I might as well use it.

I don't get how this was greenlit from a production standpoint, lmao.

Ah rip. :/
That's honestly fair though.

I think I'm mostly supporting it, because it should be true to the series.
