Everyone here
Children should respect their parents.

Is that really such a wrong thing to say?
It's not wrong but you are demanding unconditional respect when children should have the right to stand up for themselves if they know the parenting they are receiving isn't appropriate or if their boundaries are not being respected, u are creepy

If your father has a loan on his house and and that loan is higher than the value of the house, that house (your FATHERS old house. not yours). What makes you think you own something that the bank owns?
I already said the house was paid down lmao
Didn't you say he has a loan on other things? Cars and such?

Key words, other things.

I don't know why you are purposefully trying to manipulate my words but if you are being abused and you didn't do anything wrong, of course that is a problem.

I'm talking about kids who disrespect their own parents for no reason and act like total brats and being ungrateful.

How many times have I said in this thread that things aren't black and white 😭😭 It doesn't have to be outright abuse but emotionally damaging children just because grrr they must respect me I conceived them those ungrateful little pieces of shit!!! Yes

I could either inherit the house (which is paid for already) AND the other things+ debt, or I could choose to inherit nothing at all, including the hosue which is already paid for

lmao you've been twisting peoples words since early pages

and there are no excuses for physically abusing your children so. if that's what you learned from the moral stances of Christianity, I'm sorry to say that they are considered abusive in this time and age.

So loving care is a condition, not a right? Children can be abused but only if they were acting up, you know, the way children do? Didn't you just say that if you aren't respectful it's because your parents failed raising you? So parents who failed at raising respectful children should then abuse their children? Just getting that straight.

My point is: you cannot be forced to pay another persons debt. If you WANT to enherit something that is paid for in loans, of course you inherit the loan but nobody can never force anyone to pay out of their own pocket (unless they want to).

Bro what on earth, im saying if I want the house I grew up in that is PAID FOR already, I would also HAVE to inherit his debt, and that can include credit card debt n shit like that too. Of course I can say no to everything (as I said) but getting NOTHING your parents owned when u die is just sad

Your definition of forced is quite scant.

So for you it's ok for children to emotionally abuse, manipulate, throw anger tantrums but a parent cannot expect respect from their own child?
