Unfortunately they have something to say on the international scene still, so to some degree it'll still be important, even if they have less to say compared to local elections.

Democracy is flawed, and I think more people should've thought about why we try to keep court judges non-partial by giving them a ton of "protection" to keep them like that (even if that doesn't happen in the US either, which is a joke) and then look at politicians and maybe consider if it would be worth it to make some rules for the people who makes the rules , so they don't act in their own self-interest as much. I know this is a dream scenario, but jesus christit's sad to look at
