It's not the same, though, is it? The train dilemma is about whether more lives are more important to save than less lives and about taking action to cause the death of a few to keep many alive. I mean, we could rather use the money we use on old ppl on younger ppl that need help and might die without the money, in that sense ur rlly choosing between young vs old, n we tend to love dem old ppl weirdly enough

Fact is, human beings have an obsession with eternal life. They are not ready to let go. I worked at a hospital and have seen people being 95 and kept alive even though they have no quality of life anymore. They take up space, they cost money and their life isn't worth it anymore. Why let them suffer? Yes, it's hard for the family to say goodbye but WE NEED to stop treating death as something we have to avoid at ALL COST.
