my friend is gay man (J).  they dated other gay man (R).  R decided they wanted to become nonbinary they/them and J supported them.  R started taking hormones because they wanted to be more androgynous.  J is not into women and namely is not into breasts.  R began to develop them and continued taking hormones.  J eventually had to break it to R that "i am a gay man and not into women/breasts", and R decided to stop taking them.  J was worried that he was halting R's transition or desire to be what they wanted to be and was worried that R was going to resent them.

my brother's gf resented him because she didn't "transition" during highschool because of him (they is a huge BITCH)

why not? it just stops them from hitting puberty (if they do it before puberty ofc), if they stop on it, won't they just like hit puberty "later"
