i know how to knit but haven't done it for a long time, used to work in a yard shop for a couple of summers between uni actually.. i picked up embroidery and cross stitching during lockdown so been doing that instead

I have plastic darning needles but they're pretty shit lol, they're matte so they don't slide too easily, they're just not good, I should buy metal ones.

That being said, you can crochet things together, I just haven't done it because the projects I've made so far didn't suit that kind of binding.
