bc of the power of north american media it has reached the rest of the world and i understand the PoV of ppl who argue abt it though like the critique is there and makes sense kind of but then u actually go to like the west indies and the ppl in jamaica in saint lucia and other such islands will come out and directly offer to braid ur hair and put it into rows and add beads and theyre proud to see the whities roaming around with their hairstyles
