lm not that knowing of Estonian but l think the main difference is the grammar which sets the two languages apart. Which also makes it sound Estonians are drunk Finns.

that is very easily explained, Finnish is a Finno-Ugric language which one of the closest families mostly are dying small spoken languages along the Volga river. Yes, Hungarian and Estonian are also in this group but the linguistic roots are far from each other. When on the other hand Scandinavian languages are Indo-European.
