doesn't bilingual only mean people who speak more than one language from like early childhood, as their mother tongue? like if one of your parents is spanish and the other finnish and you grow up speaking both.

if everyone who speaks more than one language is bilingual then most of people on the planet are bilingual...

bilingual refers to speaking two languages fluently, not just speaking languages

theres no clear definition of bilingualism and multilingualism really its up for debate
but i have read about that being what it means yea
i think people that grew up speaking two languages equally have a specific name too though but i cant remember what
