I agree with this, mostly because if we keep saying that "mental illness" as a word is bad, we reinforce the stigma of mental illnesses.

Suicide risk is increased because of they feel bad abt their body tho, not cus being trans in itself makes u sad. Thats why suicide risk isn't really that hightened after ppl transition

Dude. Don't talk out of your ass. The suicide rate is so high among trans individuals because of the lack of support from family and friends, because of violence and abuse, and yes, because we were born in the wrong fucking bodies.

Eh, I disagree.. Where I live, most of the transgender people kill themselves also because taking hormones can fuck you up. Plus, at least 6000 trans kids in my country, died because of complications with hormones. 
Suicide risk in transgender individuals are related to both discrimination and hormones (in the case they're taking it)
