I have to say I like that a lot of people realize you can be "immune" to something and still be a carrier, because so many use the excuse "I've already had covid" to avoid wearing masks right now.
Over time as more and more people get the vaccine though it should be effective.
Yes thats the only time the vaccine in itself will be effective for spreading (after so n so % is vaccinated idk how much but). Its just so utterly stupid to have ur argument for vaccination be "oh but I do it for my loved ones, since they can die" like r u actually thick m8, if that's seriously how u think, u will end up killing way more ppl than u would unvaccinated.
That's not how all vaccines work, right? Some of them actually prevent you from spreading it to others, hence the term herd immunity.

To promote a very new, no long term effects tested vaccine to young, healthy ppl that can potentionally have way bigger health risks getting the vaccine than corona, mate

100%, it's not a good argument.
People need to consider that the vaccine will over time help, but isn't an instant fix.

I guess its harder to stop spread as it's droplet spread (englishing hard?) And not other types of spread I can't think of rn lol

not this early
I'll just wait and see what happens to the people who take it first, see what is does with them, what the side effects are and if it's safe I'll MAYBE take it

it literally dissolves over time, how could there be long term effects? and it wouldnt be given to ppl that easily if there was...

Don't take this as absolute fact, but it might have always been a process. A lot of current vaccines have been around for years so we've had a lot of time to develop herd immunity and eradicate some diseases such as polio.

One thing is to promote it, another is making them feel forced to take it when in all honesty, there is no reason for them to take it (yet atl) and it can potentioally b harmful

Maybe, but I think why people are saying it's unknown is because the vaccine in a way alters your immune cells.

yeah, because there are no long term side effects?
It hasn't been tested long enough for people to actually be able to trust in it enough. 5 years is the bare minimum and this has been developed for like 11 months? Oh, hell no.

Oh yeah, that's a good point. I don't have any knowledge about how vaccines work, so I tried googling to see whether you can still spread disease after being vaccinated, but most of the search results were about the coronavirus vaccine, which is not what I was trying to find...

The group I fall in will not be the first to be offered the vaccine. When my time comes I think I will have made my decision by then based on the outcome and knowledge of those, who have taken it.
