lmao we have two spare sets and i still feel like we dont have enough sheets
Part is cuz I literally don't have any closets in my house.
Growing up we had a whole hall closet full of sheets and towels and here? I'm like where would I even put it.
In a box under the bed I guess
you need some kind of closet adjacent situation where do you keep your towels
on a shelf in the bathroom that my ex roommate built lol
this house had literally no storage before we started building shelves
its why it always feel so cluttered, because everything I own is on display

laundromats aren't common here you either have you own washing machine at home or a shared laundry room in the apartment building
why does it take so long though lol
idk probably just cause they're thick and you don't want any moisture left inside or it'll get mildewy. but i mean a normal washing program takes 2 hours already, then it's 4 hours of drying, not that crazy imo
like the dryer at my parents' place takes 3 hours to dry a normal batch of clothes

Where I live, landlords can get away with pretty much anything.
It's kinda awful.

There is probably a clog or partial in the venting hose that goes out of the house.
Lint that bypasses the lint trap builds up in the hose that vents the hot air out of the house.

That's fucked. Here they do have to provide heat, even if that means just buying you space heaters.
