But yeah sure credit card allows you to also use money you don't have - that is if you actually don't have the money
Of course you'll use the money you have first. I've never had that issue since, as I said, I don't use money I don't have.

I think you just have one more link sorta
So instead of using money as a loan from the start, danish cards are connected directly to their bank accounts so you don't loan the money until you don't have the money.

Though I guess you can use money you don't have on debit as well, just not to quite the same extend (I don't remember how exactly that works - I think if your account is already in negative you can't use it? or smth)
