They clearly have no intention of taking your advice or anything you tell them seriously, this has been going on for 6 pages now, they've made it clear that they're not gonna try to not be racist in the future no matter what
i like the discussion and that im learning about a position that i completely disagree with because they seem to be willing to have the discussion and be fair about it. it helps me to understand how and why people have a stance that i consider so reprehensible, because i personally cant empathize with hatred based on race. helps me in the future to unpack and like pick at/dissect this stuff with people who might actually be willing to change if i get where they are coming from

okay, well i am happy to clear that out of the way then. if you are deadset on feeling this way despite knowing that it is either wrong or in some way hypocritical then that is on you, but you seem to be a smarter person than that.

perhaps. naturally, i have an easier time understanding someone with similar views as to mine than i would have with somebody having a problem with tall people for example. again, i know you can't help being short or tall
