My mother paid for my glasses and she wanted me to send a picture of me wearing them and I was like I'm not going to do that I've not taken a photo of myself in 5+ years and I don't intend on changing it

Yeah. My mother flat out refuses to throw the photos my grandparents had of me. My grandfather died recently so they need to clean out everything and I requested for the pictures to be destroyed and my mother said no so I need to consider how to approach it lmao idc if people think it's weird I do not want photos of me

it actually gave me a lot of anxiety growing up, both having people sing to me and me singing to others. used to like set my alarm early to make sure i was awake when they came in n junk 
i just dislike it it's too much fuss and i'm not a toddler

well, I mean, as much as you're allowed to them getting destroyed, your mum is allowed to own pictures of you
also, she was the one to inherit them (probably, I don't know about the whole family ties, it's just easier to say so) and thus it's her pictures now and she can do with them what she wants
