yeah i agree but also a lot of ppl do that feel way and it is understandable why they would
im just confused cuz most of the things on there are actually completely normal and experienced by most women. i wonder why theyve fixated on their looks as being the sole reason for all of it.
its just like...i wish these girls would realise that if they were suddenly 'prettier' , their lives wouldnt be as drastically different as they think. all of their issues wouldnt just magically disappear . im not denying the fact that yeah unattractive women are treated really badly by society but its not as simple as 'if i was hot everything would be fine and none of these things would b an issue anymore'
it's a coping method I think. It's the attitude that "if xyz happened, then i'd be happy'. That although the possibility is remote, happiness is actually possible. And something to work towards. And the more remote the possibility is the better because deep down inside you know that when you do achieve it, you still won't be happy. And all hope is dashed. So at least you never reach that stage where it becomes completely apparent.
That's kind of why I try to make my goal not to be 'happy' but to be 'less sad'. I think it helps looking at it like that
yeah !
