Demisexuality, in my opinion, is almost the norm for people, whether they are heterosexual, bisexual or homosexual

also no one is forcing anyone to use labels, but the very very very least you could do is just respect it, or ignore their existence
dont think ive disrespected anyone based on their identity so far

i dont really understand it either but whatever, i feel like a lot of these things only exist online. i've never seen someone in real life identify as demigender or somethign

or i know two people that are they/them, but thats it
wud like to add my view on this

i think it only exists online bc they are aware ppl irl wouldn't take them seriously i think.. being trans irl is easier than being NB irl bc ppl will understand being transgender much easier

thas what i think, but correct me if i'm wrong

it's a process, i think in 10, 20 years it will be more acceptable in society to say no thx to a gendered entry
there are already a few (sadly very vew) characters on tv shows that may help normalize it

i think cis people have a hard time understanding gender because their sex and gender match so they never had to think about why they feel like the gender they are or why not.
but thats what i find offensive because i dont have any gender by your standards
i just dont like the labels
Again, u don hav to wear them. No one's gonna force em on u

It's kinda like yearz ago when I was younger and waz like "I want top surgery but Im a woman" and ppl were like "If you wanna remove ur chest than imo, mby ur not cis. But also, if u wanna identify az a woman and feel like a cis woman, then that's a okay to remove ur chest and still b a woman."

I mean I later found out Im not cis lmao, but anyway. What I am TRYIN to zay iz that u don need to wear theze labels. If u feel like a woman and wanna b a woman, then ur a woman. And if someone triez to deny that then they r the ones in the wrong llol

By gender, I mean gender roles or what females and males are supposed to behave/be. Females are supposed to be feminine and males are supposed to be masculine.
Since I'm a masculine female, I do not go by the gender that was imposed to me
A lot of cis people are completely confident with "breaking" gender stereotypes without even thinking about it which is amazing and important.
But it's something else.
I felt something similar to that, but the difference was that I also felt something more. I realised that I never was as comfortable being percieved as a woman. I later realised, that I never was a woman. It wasn't natural for me.

but demisexual doesn't say anything about which sex you're attracted to, just abt how you prefer to have sex (w someone you know intimately instead of a stranger)

By percieved as a woman, what do you mean? Like, what society expects you to act like?

well a lot of my lgbt friends says that I am a demisexual person?
I don't understand how it works
I don't use labels
but I just know that I can find ppl beautiful, hot
but never felt attracted to them?
I'm only attracted to someone after we formed a really deep connection?
I was like attracted to maybe 2ppl
in my whole life?
and the attraction came only AFTER we were together, and formed a connection
but idk
I won't use that label anyway

but what i don't understand is.. you can be a masculine female and still identify as female, and vice versa

i feel like all these labels just enforce gender stereotypes. you can act however you want and it doesn't mean you have to identify as another gender/sex because of it
