I mean, that movie is pretty awesome, I'm still sad over the fact I lost the DVD after lending it to someone

I'm partial to what most would consider boring movies. I don't like action driven plots and fanfare just so something happens. Movies completely based on character development are absolutely fine by me and even preferred (hence why I like a lot of contemporary French movies and usually get bored during action movies).
I'm a bit split when it comes to sci-fi and all that. I like the genre, but I'm picky and can't really pinpoint what it is, that makes it so difficult for me. Sci-Fi movies and series' that I really enjoyed were Westworld (well, at least season 1), Almost Human, iRobot, AI. I think I like the human conflict part in movies in general?
On occasion, I like sappy romances, my all-time favourite is Stardust (nothing beats the sassy ghosts and Robert deNiro as sky pirate), though people keep telling me it's a bad movie (I refuse to believe so). Morbid comedies are also fun.
Style wise I'm a big fan of the way Guillermo del Toro uses colours and light to convey emotions. I'm not big on horror movies, but for him I make an exception.

Feel free to ask if there is more you need or want me to elaborate on.
Logan's Run (1976)

"A police officer in the future uncovers the deadly secret behind a society that worships youth."

(also you should DEFINITELY watch the original Westworld from 1976 and the sequel, Futureworld from 1976)

Ohhhh, this sounds good. I think my dad even told me about this movie once (he's a big sci-fi nerd and really loves those movies). I actually have the Westworld/Futureworld movies on my watchlist already, but had issues finding streams to watch them (not really a fan of Amazon Prime to be honest :/ but well, if nothing else helps).
Maybe I'll make a sci-fi evening and watch all three of them in one sitting :d That's what week-ends are for, right?

Thanks for the recommendation!
