No, this is only a verse about who Jesus died for, it's a little more complicated than that.

If you repent from your sins (ask for forgiveness with a genuine heart, and stop sinning) and believe in Jesus as your saviour and accept him as Lord in your life then you can get baptized and you will be filled with the Holy Spirit. Then you will be changed from the person you were before. You will still be a human with flaws, but you live your life being sanctified (I believe this is the right word). 

However saying you are a christian but ignoring Gods words is something entirely different. In which case the person in question is decieving themselves

John 5:24  "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life."

Obviously it still matters, stabbing someone is horrible thing to do. People aren't forgiven if they go do whatever terrible thing they want, but don't repent.
