Oh, I thought they might be like, artisan or something since you ordered them online lol
No I just order everything online lol, shopping "irl" stresses me out
Found a local craft store that ships fast, so I ordered hooks and more yarn
I'm scared to order yarn I haven't bought before online. I've ordered stuff I already knew was nice once but I've never tried ordering new to me yarn, I'm scared it'll be scratchy (which is silly because I usually only care what a yarn looks like anyway lol) or that the colour won't be like it is online or that it will be bigger/smaller than I thought, you know?
I havent had any trouble with it tbh, I look for the length, weight, yarn group, recommended hook/needles and all that stuff
The colour may be a bit different yeah, but I usually look at user reviews with photos where you can see the yarn in different light

I think my biggest problem would be that I'm too lazy to return things lol

What sweater was it though? Also, have you knit other things in the past?

Hmm, I guess no thinner than dk? But it doesn't have to be super thick since crochet makes a thicker fabric. I made a tote with dk weight yarn and it's a tad flimsy for my liking but it's not like it would rip or anything. I should probably sew a lining for the body of it but eh, can't be bothered. Sewing is stressful oof

I get you one the sewing honestly, I tried once and even got a super nice sewing machine for christmas. I got to admit, it's very much collecting dust at this point. I'm gonna see what their selection is, ty for the answer!

No problem
I was in like a sewing class thing when I was about 11 or 12, was actually pretty good, I sewed my own onesie (it was 2015, cut me some slack), ears and all. I haven't really sewn something in years though so now it's scary.

I love to crochet, but I wish I could knit. I like to make amigurumis mostly. Here is a little bunny heirloom I sent to my bf.

I also made an angler fish but I made it into a silly bag. It was my first time working with a zipper!

I want to learn to make my own patterns eventually. These were all made by some awesome people, I bought them online if you want to know where I got the patterns from.

Ohh those are really cool! I love the angler fish, I'd love a link to the pattern.
I don't think I'm really interested in making my own patterns, seems like a lot of math. Also I doubt I'll be able to come up with anything more interesting than the things I can easily find on ravelry. Eh, maybe one day.
