Realistically my dad won't live that long anyway, so it is what it is. Ideally euthanasia is an option so he can have a more dignified end to his life and reduce the duration of the suffering that he will (pretty much) inevitably experience. If my sister and me were to help him we would both have to not have a job and how the fuck would we afford living anywhere lol. 
Obviously, he is fine enough now so he can be on his own unsupervised but yeah
