when they say shit like that i'm like okay so what you are trying to tell me in a weird cryptic pc way is that all people with neopronouns are neurodivergent
which is a stupid generalization

You  ?
yes but it's not specific!! if i say 'you' you can't tell if i'm addressing 1 person or multiple people. hate that

for those asking about neopronouns:neopronouns are like normal pronouns,
they popped up mainly from people that are ND or NB or people with disabilities (such as myself!) its just pronouns with hyperfixations or things ur more comfy with in short :)
its a lil more complex but i just woke up so i cant say much
if you arent ND its still okay to use them though! its not gated, just dont use it for the aesthetic and youll be good :)

kitten/kittenself isnt enherently sexual either, but i understand the outlook :)
most people are okat with they/them if u think its too difficult so. if ur uncomfortable saying or using them though thas still a lil yikes bc its still just. normal pronouns
stuff like acabself and blmself are troll pronouns that arent actual neopronouns! same for stuff like slurpronouns n other bad bad sad

as i said its mainly created by ND/NBz or people or people with disabilities and hyperfixations, but its open to everyone. repeating to stress this
i would go to neopronouns.carrd.co for more and better worded stuf on this :)

It's just pronouns?? Why there gotta be a conversation about it? Why would anyone have an opinion on someone elses pronouns??

So from reading this, to me it sounds like a coping mechanism? Esp since you mention how neopronouns relate to hyperfixations, which is also a thing with ADHD. but then again, coping mechanisms is something you use for yourself. there's just this weird trend nowadays of people going "well i need to do this because i am ND and if you don't also play by these rules that i've set up, then you're ableist!"

it's really not the way to go and does not help bring your point across. i will try to respect and use your preferred pronouns, but it's maybe time to consider the practicality of it. i don't see this working out outside of very specific subcultures on the internet

Im from finland and i dont understand need of different pronouns

Like yeah, i respect pronouns you want me to use. But why other languages felt like they needed to have different pronouns in the first place

People should be called what they want to be called, simple as that.

well,, i don't really understand the logic behind he/him lesbians but i'm cool with it.
i'm so glad pronouns don't exist in my native language (turkish)  so i don't have to worry about these types of things.
nobody has to label themselves into something they're not comfortable with!
even if you don't support someone's pronouns you still have to refer to them with it don't @ me
He/him lesbians was mainly a thing back in the day when butch/masculine looking lesbians would go by he/him pronouns for safety. Like it was just safer to generally have ppl think u were a dude cuz there was a lot of violence against openly gay ppl. It was a safety measure to avoid discrimination and homophobic violence

i think its also used by trans men that havent started transitioning yet sometimes but idk

??? what the fuck does this even mean?

this is such a non answer

someone asking u to use their pronouns isnt being entitled and if u think it is u need to reevaluate the way u look at things holy shit
a non answer for a non problem

i'm not responsible for others menthol illnezz
lmao no one said u were

it's not just mental illnesses, its disabled ppl as well
and while the majority of folks using neopronouns are nd, there are some who aren't disabled/mentally ill, making this shitty excuse not even apply

ppl are literally just telling u their pronouns, and if u refuse to use them ur a dickhead, simple as that
if it rly makes u uncomfortable and ur not just being an ass, then just ask if they have others u can use, or don't interact with them

honestly if ur not just trolling at this point its fucking sad

nah its not a coping mechanism its just what ppl are most comfortable with due to how they experience their gender

also not sure where u got the link between hyperfixations and coping mechanisms? those arent inherently related just as a note

also how entitled does one have to be to demand anyone and everyone to adhere to a specific set of "rules" of addressing said person
you aren't the queen calm down
theyre not rules lmao theyre literally just the pronouns a person uses

it's no different than someone saying they only want to be referred to as they/them

yeah? entitlement can be found in many places or spaces
So by that logic, is it entitlement for anyone to insist on any pronouns? Like, would it be entitled for a person who goes by she/her pronouns to be upset if someone continuously kept calling her "he"?

to me it sounds like a coping mechanism, just what i thought of at first, im not stating it is.

also the thing about hyperfixations was just something the other person said
