so you're 50+?
no but how am i supposed to change my core beliefs, the same ones i have had since childhood
would you be able to do the same for me?
do what for you? no one is asking you to do anything for
them. but as i said, you are only stuck if you believe yourself to be stuck. the only reason why people don't change, is because they believe themselves completely unable to change, don't want to and think they are 100% right. a therapist can help you with that. but it sounds like you dont
want to change, and therein lies the problem. what is it, exactly, that makes you racist? do you just have an unfounded, prejudicial hatred of people of different races than yourself? do you believe everyone of a specific race has a certain level of intelligence? what exactly is the problem? if you can admit that traits such as height isn't something you choose, then surely you can understand race is the same? and that, much like people of the same race as you, no one person is the same, just because they are of a certain race?
do you actually want to change, or do you just want to complain? if that is even what you're doing. what is the point of this thread? to argue with people who are trying to talk some sense into you? to convince others you are right, even though you can clearly sense that people disagree with you? do some introspection please.
as far as i'm aware, we do not have a lot of stereotypes about tall people for example. not to the same degree as we do with different races anyway.
