im having a hard time wording this but like

i feel like a thing making this much harder is that the thing that made me suspect it was narcolepsy and not vitamin deficiency was because of the relations between sleep problems (narcolepsy) and my weird strokes i get weirdly more and more frequently as time passes (catplexy), but its parallels that you cant really draw unless you in theory knew what both of those diagnoses are, so i cant prove i have narcolepsy without using the word narcolepsy or cataplexy without seeming very suspicious, i think the doctor would understand where i was going with it
(i cant bring up my sleep issues and my weird brain seizures in one session because they arent related, and i wouldntve known they were related if i hadnt looked it up, curse my curiousity

goddamn why does this have to be so haaard, like i very obviously have practically all of the symptoms i just cant prove it

imagine it from a doctor's point of view. and someone comes & tells you they have an illness they read somewhere online. i'm not saying you don't have it i just think it would look suspicious. and what if it was another sleep illness that's not narcolepsy ? that's why it's important to explain the details bc docotrs know other things that would confirm the diagnosis
why are you telling me this, that was literally what i was saying in this thread

its fine i can be sneaky about this i only need to bring up the cataplexy, if i can achieve that getting the narcolepsy diagnose will be a piece of cake

bc it seemed like you insisted on telling the doctor the name of the illness ? i know what you're feeling but trust me it's better if you don't say it. or you'll risk not being taken seriously at all.

also no need to get angry :^)

im just trying to cover my internal discussion so people can see the problem from all angles, if i insisted on telling my doctor that i think i have two entire diagnoses i wouldve been at my doctors telling him i have two entire diagnoses

im not angry its just slightly frustrating being in a situation like this, there are no single solutions its just about minimizing collateral damage basically,

i think you can though, especially if they've both been happening for around the same length of time and since they're both like weird things that u don't understand. n it's pretty common to bring up multiple concerns to a doctor even if they're not related
