Sims in sims 3 are ugly af and the game is really buggy as well, esp university (my favourite expansion in all sims games, so I major - if that doesn't work). I hate that you're kinda stuck in one neighborhood and that aging up and down sims makes the game even more buggier, esp if you do it in cas. Just to name a few reasons

Also, the mods in sims 4 are GREAT and sims 2.. Do I even explain myself with this one? Anyway, I find controlling my sims and the world around them easier in sims 2/4 than sims 3, which is great for my storyline based playing style

When I first got sims 3 I got it with pets I wanted to play with horses. I was excited when 4 was released too but the gameplay in 3 is so much better in my opinion. Much more to do and open world is so nice. I hate all the loading in 4 trying to do things. Even though game performance is much better. My computer handles sims 3 decently. Even with all the packs owned for sims 4 I'm just lacking in gameplay T_T
Ahh, open world was never really that THING for me tbh but yes, I can see how loading screens annoy people

It would be much nicer enrolling more than 1 sim at a time, like in Sims 3 you could do multiple. T_T Having to go back into manage worlds and go enroll that sim is time-consuming at the least.

Good question, and a lot of people complain about it too. I just wish someone would release a mod allowing this to be a thing.
