It's insane how common it is for CPS to fail so many children suffering really bad abuse, yet there are also many cases where they take away a child for nothing and alligations without proof. It's all backwards
the whole system is fucked
what happened in my case was, i told my school, they contacted cps, and I had to stay somewhere else while they 'investigated', BUT I was only allowed to stay somewhere approved by my father ? the abuser ? I wanted to stay at my aunts but instead stayed at a family friends where he would show up everyday for that whole week basically harassing me and trying to manipulate me into going back home which i guess worked but holy fuck i did not feel any safer ? i feel like they just didnt believe me lmao
