Where do you get that from? That is completely untrue, at least from my experience. That being said, being in a psych ward is meant to keep you from hurting yourself or others and/or keep you stable so it can take a while.
I don't know abt israel ofc, im just talking abt personal experience and I also know norway is trying to shorten stays at psych wards cus it might do more harm then good unless ur really ill, also depends how it is around where u live in norway etc tho ofc
