I guess the feeling of someone who knows you and you feel "comfortable" with, is easy to get attracted to yet again, when you need someone. 
I can sit here and say, i don't think it sounds like a good idea, but if you do get back together with him for real. Please i hope he learned some manners and realized you are a gem, not to be messed with.
