im not worried cause history shows that having strict laws when it comes to guns and how to keep them and who gets to keep them leads to very, very, very little gun violence. so i dont need to worry cause kids and everyone else are more likely to die in a car crash than be shot and killed

A. You assume they can actually hit their target. Professional police officers hit their intended targets less than 20 percent of the time in training situations of an active shooter.

F. Who is gonna pay for weapons/gear/training? How will it be funded? Teachers already don't make much and are known to pay for their own supplies. Our education is already shoddy compared to other 1st world nations as well, are we going to siphon away even more of our education money for this?

A. i'd rather have a less than 100% chance of preventing a school shooter than a complete 0

B. An active shooter is a threat that needs to be deterred with all force necessary. we are taking about life and death here

C. it's not "safe" if it's easily accessible. that's the point. that's a risk I'm wililng to take to prevent school shooters

E: a gun wouldn't be given just to anyone. testings and training would be mandatory

F. adjusting the budget , like they do all the time.. this would not be an issue if we implemented these new rules. fuck it i'd take a chunk out of the military budget to found this

now i don't even know if giving teaches guns are the best idea but it's stupid when people act like all crimes are going to stop just because we ban guns. school shootings are going to happen regardless here. we need guns to fight guns otherwise we're dead
