i didnt think like that when i was 18 but yea some do, people are different

im worried for the 18 year old in both cases myself

it's not morally right for the 40 year old to date the 18 year old but is it morally right for the 18 year old to date the 40 year old? i mean would it be morally wrong of the 18 year old to pursue the 40 year old into having relationship?

the years from 18 - 21 are so incredibly transformative and you mature a lot there, so maybe with 21 or 22 but 18? hmm, very grey

Yea i absolutely agree
i still can’t help but think that one of those is even worse than the other you know

i myself was in a relationship ages 16-18 with a girl over four years older than me. I don’t think the age gap was ever a problem for either of us. So there are of course exceptions.
