Hmm I dont know your skintype, might work. I alrdy got super dry skin (donate oil pls) and the dryness causes dandruff for me. 
U sure its just not dry scalp? "Dandruff may have several causes, including: Irritated, oily skin. Not shampooing enough. A yeastlike fungus (malassezia) that feeds on oils on the scalps of most adults." idk if it can b caused by dryness but it seems more likely u just have a dry scalp

as in, dandruff/flass is from oil/fungus, and not dry scalp
so calling the white stuff falling on ur shoulders dandruff/flass when u have dry skin n not actually a fungus living up in there isnt correct but then again what else r u supposed to call it
