like I've tried LadyPopular and all those kinda things but - they're just still not the same?
haven't heard of that one before but i checked it out and i think one of my big beef with a lot of other the more mainstream stuff that has survived, and also the more modern avi games don't have the same kind of combo of dress up + forum site? like in ladypopular you dont have your dress up doll as your avi ccause the forum is just an add on, and then you have all the modern ones like sky high or whatever that tried to be more social media- like?

and VP has done a good job replacing GSM in the sense of like dress up + type of social interaction, it's just under bad management

yeah, it doesn't have the same community vibe. GSM had that nice inbetween of being an actual game, the dress up AND the forum. 

So true. The site has so much potential and it'll always make me sad to see how wasted it is
