I can't do that... I'm the kind of person who can check my phone like every 30 seconds... the only way for me to forget it is if im around fun people kinda, like even when I play games I check my messages every chance I get it's super bad

lmao the only person that still sends me snapchats is my best friend and she has to text me "check snapchat" immediately after or i literally just will Never do it

i'm like that with games aswell... if i don't talk with people at the same time... then I'm better. i was like you before but i've been working on it for some time, since I can't just walk around and wait for my bf to answer all day yknow... so i try to either do things, or be in the moment and enjoy the small things. it's good, i like it, but it's not in my blood ahah, every bone in my body is set to always be available and online and i fail at it a lot aswell

if it's someone I talk to occasionally then like 1-3 days seems like a good waiting time
